Disney On Ice

Oh boy oh boy! This past Wednesday the whole Wheatley clan, with the exception of Ang and Vince (we missed you guys), had the privilege to attend Disney on Ice. I had been once before, when Liz was in high school I tagged along with her and her friends, but I don't know, this Disney on Ice seemed so much more magical than I had remembered. Maybe it was because I was sitting in the audience thinking soon I will always been surrounded by Disney joy! I think I enjoyed the show more than anyone else in the entire building, no lie. To put it in the words of my father, he leaned over to me during the show and said, "Abby, it can't get any better for you, ice skating, dancing, and Disney!" He could not have been more correct. My family all knows my weird obsession with professional ice skating but I only like it so much because I know I could never do it myself. Maybe someday I will get over this obsession, if the leotards, corny music, gruesome falls, and highly feminine men don't get to me soon, then there is most likely a serious problem that needs to be paid attention to.

Halloween!!!!!

We had our annual Wheatley halloween costume party this Saturday. I had to be minnie of coarse. And mom went over the top as usual. But do you want to know something I don't appreciate, people who sing Disney songs on BYU campus. What makes them think that they can sing out loud while walking on campus? I am currently listening to some girl singing Beauty and Beast and Jacob and Son's from the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. These people need to stop with their unwanted public singing, seriously, it is so weird. Only at BYU. I don't care if it is Disney. Please stop singing!!!!! Oh boy.

Baby Brooke

This weekend we drove to Rigby to visit the newest addition to the Wheatley clan
Brookelle Abby Byram.
She is so precious! I couldn't stop holding her. I guess with the name Abby we have a special bond. Wink! Wink!
She is adorable. This new addition sizes up the Alan Wheatley family to a whopping 17.
Check out her locks. She has more hair than any baby I have ever seen!

Disney Fever!

I am going to try and keep this blog thing rolling. Currently I am waiting to hear back from Disney! I want to know now! Moving to Florida for eight months is a big deal and I want to plan! Not to mention I will be scrambling to sell my housing contract! But for now keep your fingers crossed. (friends and family will reap the benefits) Only two more weeks. I can't stop thinking Disney so many more Disney posts are to come!
Ready Set Bake!!!

So I am new to this whole blog thing, I don't have any idea of what I am doing or who would read this but I figure, why not. Plus I actually have some things to write about. Conference weekend was full of concocting yummy treats and meals to photograph for my cookbook project. Lets just say I have never made so much food before in my life!

It all started when I couldn't sleep and woke up at 6 on Saturday so i started to make these sweet rolls. Next was cowboy salsa, cornbread, chili, and peach cobbler. Then on Sunday it was cherry cheese cake, creamy orange salad, and cheese fondu. Whoo! We had a lot of food. The funny thing is I don't cook at my apartment at all but when I come home you would think I was Rachel Ray! Who'd of thunk?
